Terms of Use
Effective date: 25 May 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website at igiftaid.org (the “site”), operated by iGiftAid Limited (“iGiftAid”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. About iGiftAid Limited
iGiftAid Limited is a UK charity (Company Limited by Guarantee, registration with Companies House and the Charity Commission for England and Wales pending). Our charitable Object, taken from our Articles of Association, is:
“To advance the welfare of individuals and communities in need by creating, managing, and supporting personal fundraising campaigns for people living in regions with limited or no access to banking services; to receive and administer donations on their behalf; and to transfer such funds to beneficiaries through secure and regulated payment channels, thereby relieving financial hardship and promoting social wellbeing.”
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your country of residence to use this site. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable local laws.
4. Campaign hosting and donations
iGiftAid does not host, process, or take custody of donations on this website. All active iGiftAid campaigns are hosted on regulated third-party platforms, currently Chuffed.org and GoFundMe. Those platforms handle donor processing, payment compliance, refunds, receipts, and the disbursement of funds. When you donate, your transaction is with the relevant platform under its own terms of service and privacy policy, not with iGiftAid.
iGiftAid's role is to coordinate, curate, and verify campaigns, and to support beneficiaries in regions where traditional banking and fundraising infrastructure is limited.
5. Beneficiary regions and compliance
iGiftAid focuses on individuals and communities in underserved regions, including Gaza and Rohingya refugee communities in Bangladesh. All fund transfers are subject to sanctions screening (OFSI UK Consolidated List, UN Sanctions, OFAC SDN, EU sanctions) and to UK anti-money-laundering controls in line with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and our internal AML/CTF and Sanctions policies. Transfers that fail screening will not be made.
