Check us yourself
With the IRS
Search our EIN, 42‑2670441, in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search. It will confirm we are a 501(c)(3) public charity in good standing and that donations are deductible.
With Pennsylvania
We hold Certificate of Registration 124454 from the Bureau of Corporations and Charitable Organizations, which is the state's permission to solicit donations at all — a separate thing from tax exemption.

Who we are
I Gift Aid is the trading name of HEART Humanitarian Foundation — one organisation, two names. HEART is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation and a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. As a nonstock corporation it has no members and no shareholders: nobody owns it, and no individual can take profit from it. Its directors are named on the HEART website.
What we will not do
We never charge a family anything. Not to apply, not to be prioritised, not to receive funds. If someone contacts you asking for payment in our name, they are not us — please tell us.
We do not rank by popularity, and nothing can be paid for. There is no featured slot on this site and no way to buy one. Campaigns are shuffled on every visit; the Daily Needs Wall defaults to whatever expires soonest.
We do not send funds where we may not. Recipients are screened against sanctions lists before money moves. This occasionally means declining a family we would want to help.
We do not claim UK Gift Aid. Our name says “Gift Aid” and people reasonably ask. Gift Aid is a UK relief needing an HMRC-recognised charity; HEART is American, so it is not available on any donation here. US donors do get a genuine deduction under section 170.
Your money, and your data
Donations are processed by regulated payment platforms, not by us — we never see or store your card details. Our privacy policy sets out what we do hold and for how long, and you can ask us to delete it at any time via our data deletion page. This site runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no profiling cookies.
